Accountability

Proverbs 24:6 tells us “...in a multitude of wise men there is safety."

At His Life Church we recognise that there is a need for the accountability that comes from surrounding yourself and your ministry with wise people and organisations. As we launch this church we are working towards ensuring that we have “wise men” to provide safety for us and the people we serve.

It is important for Michele and I that we have people who can and will speak into our lives with wisdom, encouragement, discernment, and correction when we need it.

We have taken a number of steps already to try and achieve this both personally and for the church and we will continue to develop this as the church matures. For now Toby has ministry credentials with RMAI, we have pastors (Kevin and Susan Fletcher who are Rhema UK&I Directors and pastors of Rhema Family Church London our sending church) and we have a group of ‘wise men’ and a wise woman with a wide variety of ministry and secular experience who are supporting us spiritually and practically.

We have a “core” team of people that are working with us to launch His Life Church, we are not doing it alone.

We are a charity registered with the United Kingdom Charities Commission and therefore have a group of trustees who provide oversight to the running of the church and ensure that we meet our legal obligations.

On top of this we believe that we are accountable to each other within the body of Christ and we know that we can’t do it all on our own. To this end as we grow as a church we intend to partner with other churches and Christian organisations to build His kingdom, as we do this we believe that we will find further accountability and wisdom through these relationships.
